The ingredients needed to prepare Walnut Mousse:
- You need 1 litres Milk preferably low fat
- Get 20 g China Grass (Agar agar)
- Provide 2 tbsp Sugar
- You need 3 tbsp Cocoa Powder (dissolved in 2 tbsp milk)
- Get 2 tbsp Coffee (dissolved in warm milk)
- Take 1 tbsp Cream (preferably low fat fresh cream)
- Get As per taste Chocolate Vermicelli to garnish
Steps to make Walnut Mousse:
- Combine 1+1/2 cups water with China Grass & cook on a low flame till it dissolves complete. Keep aside.
- Strain this mixture through a muslin cloth and keep aside.
- Boil milk in the same pan and add China grass, sugar &cocoa powder. Mix well and simmer for 5-7 minutes stirring continuously.
- Remove from heat, when cooled, add cream and mix proper.
- Divide the mixture in 4 equal parts& pour in 4 small bowls.
- Refrigerate for 4-6 hrs or till the mousse has set. Garnish with Chocolate Vermicelli. Serve Chilled.
