- Prepare 55 g (2 oz) glace cherries, quartered
- Provide 55 g (2 oz) sultanas
- You need 70 g (2 1/2 oz) Rice Krispies®
- Provide 110 g to 170g (4 to 6 oz) plain chocolate, melted

- Grease a deep baking tray or line with greaseproof paper.
- In a saucepan over a low heat, melt the margarine and stir in the sugar. Add the dates and bring to the boil. Once boiling, remove from the heat and mix in the cherries, sultanas and cereal. Transfer to the prepared baking tray and press into the sides. (don't press down and compress it, it makes it too hard) Chill in the fridge to set.
